Blurred Lines

Lord, what are we to do? It feels like we are yelling in a room filled with wind, wind that drowns out our voices and rips the tears away from our cheeks. Wind that is angry and harsh, cold and bitter. God, what do we do when it seems like the enemy is advancing? As if the light is being drowned out by the darkness, a darkness that is physical, enveloping everything it comes in contact with. What are we to do when it seems as if the light is running from such darkness, when it sees as if the only way to survive it is to run?

God, we are not silent, your Remnant. There are those of us who stand and fight, refuse to back down, speak when given an opportunity, but the opportunities aren’t often and the people willing to listen few and far between.

Lord, what are we to do when they are killing babies, allowing them to die, naked and cold, on a table in the corner, blind and alone? God, really, what are we to do when the evil keeps getting eviler and the madness is becoming maddening?

Help us, Lord! We don’t want to allow this evil to continue but we don’t know how to stop it. We are your hands and we are your feet, USE US to stop this! Give us the words, the wisdom, the guidance and the direction to make it stop, to put an end to the sickness infiltrating your country and your world. The bacteria is spreading, God, and you are the only cure.

What are we to do, God, to make this stop? Help us, help your Remnant put an end to this evil.

“The Senate voted Monday to block consideration of a measure that would punish any doctor who fails to provide medical care to a child born alive after an attempted abortion… The bill would require a health-care practitioner to “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child” as he or she would to “any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”

I have to believe you have a plan. That right now, this very moment, when it seems as if we have lost a major battle, you are working behind the scenes. I have no choice but to believe that you are advancing your warriors to the front lines, going to make a battle cry to your followers. I have to stand on the truth that I feel in my Spirit that you hurt more than I hurt, and you are even angrier than I. I must believe that you see the evil spreading and hear the cries being wept.

I must believe, above all this, that you are angry. Angry at your people for allowing such darkness in, angry at the church for standing back as the enemy stepped forward, angry at the pastors who stay silent, at the politicians who vote for darkness, angry at the people who stand idly by as the world gets taken from you and handed over to the enemy. And, angry, above all, on behalf of the innocent lives being taken, the babies thrown aside and told they aren’t worth saving. For this, Lord, is no different than modern day Pharaoh killing the children in Egypt. This, God, is just like King Herod slaughtering the babies in order to stop Jesus from becoming the Messiah.

God, you had a plan in place then and I believe you have a plan in place now. When Pharaoh killed the innocent, you brought Moses forth. When Herod killed the innocent, you brought Jesus forth.

So, I believe you are about to bring forth your savior, but, this time I do not believe it is one single individual, but many. Many are about to step forward and take up your cross, come forward because of your call. You have not abandoned us, you have not abandoned the innocent. We will fight because they can’t, we will not be shaken and we will not be stopped.

Now is the time, step forward and take up the call. The enemy has overstepped, the lines are no longer blurred.

“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” -Psalm 94:16

  1. Thank you for putting in words what my heart and soul is feeling, and reminding me that though it seems hopeless, God is in control.

  2. My heart hurts today for what this nation has become but mostly for the lives of those precious babies. Thank you for putting into words what allot of us feel. We have to remember through it all GOD is still in control and that He has already won the war over this evil.
