I Hear The Sound: Re-post

Two years ago to the day I wrote the below post. It is just as inspiring and encouraging today as it was when it was originally written.

The world shouts to the skies when it becomes desperate for rain. The world waits, never knowing when the waters will come, but knowing they must come.

The winds dance, the trees sway, the flowers bloom, the birds sing, the tides rise, all in reverence to their Maker, in obedience to His word.

If all of the world bows to His word, so will I.

If everything around me believes the sun will shine, the moon will rise, the rain will fall, then so shall I.

He made the world round, the skies high, the mountains wide, the ocean vast, He can certainly align my path.

I am a willing soul, He can mold me.

I am a desperate daughter, He will comfort me.

I reject the world and all its ways in order to take up His cross, He will call me forth.

He is my voice, my hands, my feet, my smile, my laugh, my beating heart and my soaring soul.

If He is all of these things, then He will make a way in the wilderness and waters in the desert (Isaiah 43:19).

When I cry out to Him, He will answer me.

When I reach for Him, He will grasp my hand.

When I seek Him, He will make Himself found.

I am His and He is mine. No plan or scheme of the enemy will stop me from becoming all my God is calling me to be.

Though the storms may come, I will stand tall.

Though the enemy may attack, I will attack back.

Though the devil may roar, my roar is greater, for I am of God, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4).

Just as the world waits for it’s blessing, it’s overflow, so will I.

It’s coming, my blessing, our blessing.

The rain is coming.

“For there is a sound of abundance of rain.” –1 Kings 18:41
