Israel

When it comes to writing about the horrors Israelis are experiencing right now, it’s difficult to find the right words.

All I can do is pray.

Oh Lord, I pray for those suffering in Israel. I pray for the women and girls, the boys and men taken as hostages to be used and abused. I pray they know there are millions of people around the world praying for them, standing with them in the Spiritual realm, believing they will get through this atrocity. I pray you fill their minds with thoughts of peace, that regardless of the horrors they have endured, they know their God is with them, standing beside them, loving them and holding them through this.

Lord, I pray for Israeli leadership, for Prime Minister Netanyahu and others who have been placed in an impossible situation. I pray they make decisions that are best for their people, their country, the hostages and all those involved. I know this is not an easy thing for any leader to face, but God I also know you can guide them through this and direct them in a way they know is Spirit led.

Lord, I pray for Israelis all over the world who are experiencing persecution, I pray they stand tall and proud of their heritage and never buckle to the bully the devil has woken up.

Lord, I pray for Christians, I pray we stand, in the physical and spiritual realms, with those who are experiencing persecution and never back down when it comes to doing what is right, that we pray, fast, act on behalf of those who need our help.

Lord, I pray for an awareness to settle over the world. For people to wake up to the violence that has arisen, not only in Israel but all around us. That we know we must stand against such violence, hate and oppression and speak up!

Oh, Lord, my heart aches for all those who are hurting right now due to these attacks. God, I pray you use this as a way to wake up the church, to open the eyes of the slumbering and tell us we can’t slumber any longer. The devil has hit your people, your precious children, therefore we, as your army, must rise up and help in any way we can.

Lord, may we be willing to do what is right and just, what is honorable and pure. May your Spirit fill those who need it most and may your voice speak louder than the voice of the enemy.

God, thank you for your goodness and your love, may that love pour out upon your children and may we all know that YOU are on the throne and your will WILL be done.

Thank you, God, for hearing the cries of your people.

Amen.

“Let Israel hope in the LORD: For with the LORD there is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.”
