Simple

We live in a very complex and confusing world. What was once right is now wrong and what was once truth is now purely opinion. Different perspectives and beliefs bombard us on all fronts making it difficult to know what to believe, say, think. This bombardment of false information and new “truths” has complicated things to such a degree it is truly overwhelming.

Lately, I have been faced with frustrations and disappointments, resulting in my attitude not being what it should be. I was shorter than usual and found myself getting annoyed with even the smallest things. I realized something was off but just didn’t know how to deal with it. One morning in prayer, I asked God to help me, for Him to send me to a verse that I could stand on and make my own. I opened my bible and sure enough God took me exactly where I needed to go. I began reading the verses He gave me every day and since then everything has been – simple.

My attitude is lighter, my perspective is cheerful and my overall view on life and all that is happening around me is far more optimistic.

Life can be difficult, there’s no denying that. Now more than ever it seems as if the devil is truly roaming about seeking people to devour, but, when we turn to God, He will create a clean path through the most dense, dark and grim forest.

God is the Master of the universe; He knows what we need to get through whatever we are facing. Regardless of how confusing, difficult, heartbreaking, or frustrating our current situations may be, God has a way through that is far easier than any of us could imagine! What the world makes complicated, God makes simple.

So many are struggling today with mental health issues, physical ailments, relational problems, financial insecurities and family drama. The devil has snuck his way into the lives of so many, attacked and assaulted God’s children to such a degree many are crying out “why?!”.

If this is you, I want you to know God can MAKE IT SIMPLE and bring you to the other side of this situation! No matter how complicated your problem may be, God can (and will if you allow Him) simplify you struggles and show you the way through.

That saying “give it to God and go to sleep” has never been so true as it is now. Hand your issues to God, throw them at Him if you have to, but don’t cling to them any longer. I guarantee when you give Him your most difficult of problems He will make a way through far faster, and easier, than you ever imagined.

So, give it to God and let your mind, finally, be at peace.
