The time is at hand, the trumpets have been blown. The Remnant is being called to come together like never before, stand side by side in a way we have never stood. We have watched many fall as temptations came, witnessed causalities as our fellow brothers and sisters became too wrapped up in the ways of the world, in the attacks of the enemy, to continue to fight. But, those that are standing are ready, are able, and are angry.
A war is coming, has already begun. A war of good versus evil, light versus darkness, truth versus lies. The Remnant, the small remaining quantity of true Believers, may be few and far between, but they are stronger than ever before.
When I think of those who have remained truthful to the Word, honest to who their God is and all that He can do, I see the 120 in that upper room, waiting with great expectation for the Holy Spirit to fall and the church to begin. They were needy, hungry for a new level and desperate to spread the truth. (Acts 2)
When I think of those that refuse to bend to the ways of the world because of their love for the ways of the Word, I see the 300 at the water, hands on swords, eyes up, ears pricked and hearts rapidly beating, for they knew that the enemy was out there. They anticipated the attack and were ready to take back what the enemy had stolen. (Judges 7:1-7)
The angels have aligned themselves, are standing side by side in the realm we cannot see, yet feel in our hearts and spirits like a tangible clear dimension. They have heard the cries of God’s people, felt the desperation in the laboring world, and have come because of the calls, the prayers that have been continuously sent to heaven.
Ready yourself, for we are about to see the battle begin. Fear not, for we are not fighting alone. Beside you stands a mighty warrior, an angel sent just for you.
Before you goes the Great Commander, the God who knows you by name.
Guiding you is the continuous Edifier, the Holy Spirit that is always with you.
Around you is the presence of the Mighty Savior, the one who gave it all in order for you to be able to win this war.
To your right and to your left are brothers and sister in arms, each fighting the same battle and believing in the same victory.
The trumpets have been blown, the Kingdom is arising.
Proclaim this among the nations:
Prepare for war!
Rouse the warriors!
Let all the fighting men draw near and attack.
Beat your plowshares into swords
and your pruning hooks into spears.
Let the weakling say,
“I am strong!”
Come quickly, all you nations from every side,
and assemble there.
Bring down your warriors, Lord!
Joel 3:9-11
