You are not alone, whoever you are that needs encouragement today. You will get through whatever it is you are up against, whatever enemy you are facing you will defeat, if you simply believe. There is no weapon that could be formed against you, either in the physical or the spiritual, that can harm you, do you know why? You are a child of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. You have been adopted into the line of Jesus Christ, you are royalty.
I don’t know who you are, but I know you are hurting, that you feel downcast, downtrodden and depressed. I know you look to the right and the left and see no one, but does that matter? Does it matter if anyone is there physically when you know spiritually you are never alone?
Whatever it is you are walking through, whatever mountain stands before you, whatever hurt was done to you or whatever bad news was spoken over you, is not greater than the God who created you. You were born for such a time as this and although you may feel as if the world is closing in on you, remind yourself that your God is all around you, pushing the darkness away and filling you with His light and love.
Your God loves you, He needs you to know that, He needs you to believe it. Jesus died for you, so you could defeat this enemy, kill the giant, take down the lion and the bear.
Jesus gave His life in order to free you from the captivity you feel yourself in. Though you feel as if this darkness is encompassing you know that greater is He that is IN YOU than he that seems to be all around you. There is no giant God cannot kill for you, mountain He cannot carry you over or ocean He cannot swim you across. You are about to witness a miracle, but the miracle can only come forth if you have faith, your faith will release the blessing to come sweeping in like you have never seen before.
Find hope in knowing you are loved, adored by your God, the God who created you for this time and this season. No, He never wanted you to be hurting, but He is the answer to the pain, the only medication you will ever need. He is the cure to every sickness, the right to every wrong, the sunrise to every dark night. He is all you will ever need. Allow Him to sweep you away from this dark place and bring you to a place of victory, a place of rejoicing, a place of peace.
So, you who are heavy laden, look up, for your Jesus is standing with a hand outstretched, a smile on His face. Look into His eyes and look away from the darkness that wants to consume you. Your Jesus, your Father, has a way out of this cave and is about to bring you into His light. Take His hand and allow Him to do what He knows best to do.
He will save you, you are not alone.
