Lately, hearing the Lord’s voice and seeing His plan has become every increasingly more difficult. There is a heavy blanket of weariness and sadness upon the Remnant, myself included. We have prayed, we have fasted, we have fought, we have stood, we are still standing, yet it seems our actions bore no fruit, as if the enemy won and the Lord’s children will disappear silently into the night.
While going to God with these feelings and concerns a single thought pierced through the chaos which has lately become my mind: God is good.
We, as Christians, all know these words and repeat them with little thought of the power within them. But, when we are in the middle of the fire, walking through the waters, bombarded by the wind and the waves, surrounded by darkness and can’t see the light, we have to ask ourselves if we truly believe in the sincerity of those three simple words, if we, individually, honestly believe God Is Good.
Although I am uncertain what the future holds, am deeply concerned for my country, don’t have a clue what the Lord is going to do next, I believe, with every fiber of my being, with every breath I take, with every bit of who I am, that God truly is good and, because He is good, will lead His children to a place of REVIVAL and VICTORY.
God will bring us though these turbulent times. He will part our red sea, close the mouths of the lions, raise up our dead, elevate the scepter, protect us from the plagues, shield our homes with His blood, destroy the enemies coming against us, lead us through the wilderness, armor us in the desert, clothe us in the night, cool us in the day and get us to the other side.
When all worldly things become unsound is when we must dig our heels in and refuse to budge from our place upon the Word. 2020 was a year filled with chaos and 2021, thus far, has been a year filled with unknown. But, regardless of it all, God is good, He always has been and He always will be.
We must refuse to relinquish the promise, to relentlessly pursue the Word, to consistently seek after the King and to steadily advance the Kingdom. Our actions will bear fruit, the enemy has not won, and we will never disappear silently into the night. We will shine the Lords light in the midst of the darkness and, opportunely, the darker it becomes the greater and clearer that light will be.
Don’t let the devil tell you the fight is over for the fight has only just begun. A revival is on its way and we will see breakthrough like we have only imagined, observe healings like we have only heard about, hear testimonies we can hardly believe and watch masses present their hearts to the Father for all eternity.
God is not a man that He should lie (Num 23:19), He sees the end from the beginning (Isa 46:10), He knows the plans He has for us (Jer 29:11), and He came to bring us abundant life (John 10:10). Nothing that has happened has taken Him by surprise so, just like at the beginning of time when He immediately created a way out of the mess man caused, God will bring us out of this clutter of chaos, He will make a way in the wilderness and bring forth rivers in the desert (Isa 43:19), He will guide us to our promised land and use what the enemy meant for evil for our benefit (Gen 50:20/Rom 8:28).
Cling to our Prince of peace, a beautiful day lies before us because our God is exceedingly good!
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” -Psalm 27:13 (NKJV)
