What has God told you, when you shut out the world and allow time for just the two of you?
What has God said to you, when you are walking through a battle and He gives you a word to lighten your spirit?
What has God promised you, when it seems as if the night is closing in but then His voice pierces through the darkness?
What has God shown you, when you have lost your vision but then He places something before you that puts you back on the right path?
What has God done for you, when everyone else turns away, but there He is, standing in front of you as the crowds part?
God has never left you, never forsaken you, never not claimed you as His own. God is consistent and constant, persistent and steady.
He has walked with you through the night, bringing forth the rising of the sun.
He has stood with you in the rain, shielding you from the worst of the downpour.
He has stabilized you in the desert, when your eyes were tired, your body weary, your mind confused, He led you towards the water.
Do not be so quick to dismiss your God, the goodness of your Father. Do not be so ready to forget all He has done for you and all He has brought you through.
For battles will come, enemies will attack, but your God will be standing right beside you through it all.
As long as you keep standing, your God will lead you right to victory.
“Stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.” -Philippians 6:13
