Will You Fight?

I have mentioned the Remnant 19 times in the past two years, this will be my 20th.

I believe we are in a moment in history where two paths lay before us. One path leads us to the Promise Land, the other to the desert. By “us” I am referring to the Remnant, those standing on the infallible Word of God, refusing to budge from His truth even when that means turning from all the world offers and denying every lie spoken by the enemy.

Yesterday, I listened to an incredible sermon by Hank Kunneman in which he busted down my belief that if this election went south it was because the Remnant did not do their part. I believe the Remnant has done their part, has fasted, has prayed, has humbled themselves and fallen at the feet of the Lord and begged for a second chance to turn things around. So, I now realize that this has nothing to do with God not giving us the victory, but rather has everything to do with the Remnant choosing to claim what is rightfully theirs.

So, here we find ourselves, at the entrance to the Land we were promised yet being told we cannot go in because the giants that roam the territory have falsely claimed victory. But, this land has been promised to us, it has been spoke into existence and prophesied, so how is it that so many are saying we do not belong there?

No Depth To The Darkness

There is no depth to the darkness, did you know that? The devil does not suddenly have an “end point” when it comes to the sickness and disease he desires to bring into the world, or the corruption he longs to place upon humanity, or the abuse, addiction, hurt and violence he aches to plague us with.

I have known this for some time, yet I am still shocked at just how deep into the depths of darkness the devil wants to take us.

Our world is under attack, there is no doubting that now. We are not only fighting an enemy from without, looking at places like North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria and China and thinking about how bad it is over there, but rather, today, we are looking at our own society, our towns, communities, neighbors, offices and churches and realizing just how bad it has gotten here, in the land of the free and home of so many brave.

Your Weapons Of Warfare

It’s been weeks since I’ve felt a desire to write, anything. For someone like me, who is constantly writing in many different forms, that’s saying a lot. But, this morning while praying for a friends grandmother, the Lord placed something heavily on my heart that I want to share.

Many Christians are unable to fight the battles the devil forces them into because they are unaware of the weapons they possess to defeat the attacks of the enemy. The Word is full of wonderful and beautiful stories, but it is also bursting with tactics on how to destroy the adversary.

Regardless of what you are up against, you possess, right now, the ability to win the fight. The Lord gave us promises to stand upon in every situation of our lives, but unfortunately so many Christians are unaware of those promises, resulting in heartbreak, loss and great difficulty.

What do I mean?

Within The Waiting

Positivity is something I’ve recently been battling to capture. It has eluded me like a fish I’m trying to catch with my hands in a large pond; right when I think I have hold of it, something comes along to scare it away.

I know I’m not alone with this particular fight. So many Christians are battling and waiting on the Lord for their victory, breakthrough, miracle, overflow, answer…so much waiting, which leads to discouragement.

I became curious and began researching scripture on waiting. As I read through the many, many verses regarding waiting upon the Lord, the Spirit said to me, “WAITING IS A FORM OF FAITH”.  Continue reading “Within The Waiting”

I Need

I need to see the Spirit of God move upon the earth in a mighty way.

I need to hear the Lord’s voice wash over me like fresh rain falling from heaven.

I need to feel the power that emanates from my God when He walks into a room.

I need to touch the hem of Jesus and feel virtue flow from Him into me.

I need to fall under the power of the highest King.

I need to watch as the tides shift in our favor.

Salt And Light

Allow me to step up on a soap box for a moment.

I have been increasingly frustrated with what I’m seeing in our society, primarily in our churches. We stand for nothing, so we fall for anything. We don’t call out sin therefore those who are sinning have no idea that their lifestyle is a lie. We have stopped standing for innocence, innocence of life, innocence of adolescence, innocence in general. We allow our voices to be drowned out by the masses due to intimidation and fear.

We, as Christians, are not allowed to simply act and live as everyone else, we know better. We, as Christians, are not permitted to stay silent as the darkness creeps in. This is a battle, why are so few Christians fighting? Continue reading “Salt And Light”

Shoulder To Shoulder

God, we are waiting. For what, we do not know, but I know there are many waiting on you to move.

We are aligning ourselves with your Word, turning from the world to fix our eyes on Jesus. We are closing our ears to the lies told to us by those around us and opening them to words spoken by men and women who relentlessly pursue you. We are removing old garments, replacing them with pieces of your armor. Continue reading “Shoulder To Shoulder”

Fall

Lord, your people need you, now more than ever before. They are hungry for your Word, their stomachs growl with the desire to digest your truth. Your people are thirsty for your Spirit, their bodies long for the refreshing rain of your presence.

God, if you don’t fall on them, on me, then we will drop by the wayside, become small in a world where we have no choice but to become big if we are to survive. Continue reading “Fall”

The Lord Will Fight For You

I can’t do this on my own, that much I intimately know. I have no ability beyond what you give me, what you pour into me. My strength is weak in comparison to yours and my thoughts slow unless replaced with the mind of Christ.

Lord, I know I am no match for the giant and no enemy to the foe unless I have you backing me. I know I am small compared to the mountain and insignificant to the wave as it comes roaring in. When the tides rise I have no way of keeping my head above water unless you are the firm ground beneath my feet.

But, Lord, I also know that when you step in there isn’t an enemy in the world that can stand against me. I know that when you put your armor upon my shoulders no sword can pierce me and no bullet can make me bleed. Lord, I know that when you fill my mouth wisdom floods out far beyond my years and education. I know, God, that when you fight through me, I am unstoppable.
