This post is unlike any of my others so far. This is not a spiritual writing or a love letter poured out to God. There is nothing eloquent or beautiful about what I have to say. This will not be a politically correct, “people friendly” post, so if you agree with the worlds views I would suggest you stop reading now because you’ll most likely be offended by what I’m about to write.
Allow me to step up on a soap box for a moment.
I have been increasingly frustrated with what I’m seeing in our society, primarily in our churches. We stand for nothing, so we fall for anything. We don’t call out sin therefore those who are sinning have no idea that their lifestyle is a lie. We have stopped standing for innocence, innocence of life, innocence of adolescence, innocence in general. We allow our voices to be drowned out by the masses due to intimidation and fear.
We, as Christians, are not allowed to simply act and live as everyone else, we know better. We, as Christians, are not permitted to stay silent as the darkness creeps in. This is a battle, why are so few Christians fighting? Continue reading “Salt And Light”
I believe there has been a Holy Hindrance put on God’s people. Many of us have felt it, seen it, experienced it for weeks, months, years, even decades. I’m not talking about a hindrance on healings, those we know are God’s promises and cannot be kept at bay when we ask and believe they have been received.
What I’m talking about are situational hindrances-career paths, prophetic words coming to fruition, vision over our lives being shown, doors being opened.
Yesterday morning, while talking to the Lord, I told Him, “God, one of my favorite things about you is that there is no gray area. You are black or white, there is no in-between”.
We live in a society where everything is mixed and confusing; right is often perceived as wrong and wrong is accepted as right. Marriage has been molded into something God never designed it to be, the killing of innocent life has been named “healthcare”, genders apparently no longer exist and everything we do is based off of “feelings” regardless of spiritual facts. We, as a society, have lost our way in the night because we allowed the darkness to push out the Sun. Continue reading “No Gray Area”
To Christians, to those who stand when others bow, refuse to listen to the shouts of man over the still small voice of God. To those who reject the lies poured out by those in power and instead cling to the truth of the written Word.
To the Remnant, the few and far between who speak out when others are silent, who call sin sin and stand on the truth of the scriptures. To those who are willing to take the beating they know will come if they position themselves beside Jesus. To those who step out, knowing full well that stepping forward means you are placing a scarlet letter on your chest, willingly making yourself a target to the masses.
To those who are tired of the lies, of the acceptance of evil, of the wrong that we see flooding into our societies like a tidal wave crashing in and sweeping away everything good and pure. To the people who are reading these words right now and thinking, “this is me, she’s writing to me”, I have one thing to say to you, one thing to beg of you…STAND.
Lord, your people need you, now more than ever before. They are hungry for your Word, their stomachs growl with the desire to digest your truth. Your people are thirsty for your Spirit, their bodies long for the refreshing rain of your presence.
God, if you don’t fall on them, on me, then we will drop by the wayside, become small in a world where we have no choice but to become big if we are to survive. Continue reading “Fall”
Shouldn’t we live in a state of continuous expectancy?
When we pray, shouldn’t we expect our words to be heard? If our Father’s ears prick at the sound of our voices, then He begins to put a plan into place the second we ask for and believe in a miracle. (Matthew 21:22) Continue reading “Great Expectation”
