Heed The Call

We live in a dark and dreary world, a world that is unkind and uncaring. To beat the world, we must be strong, we must be kind, we must be loving, but we also must be consistent. Consistent with our aggression towards the enemy, consistent in this fight, consistent with continually moving forward, consistent in our belief in the infallible Word and our love for the Lord. We do not have time to mourn, we must keep going. We do not have time for self-pity, we must carry on.

There will come a day when we are allowed to mourn, cry, pout, complain, but it is not this day. This is the day when we fight, war, allow our battle cries to be heard in the North, South, East and the West. Continue reading “Heed The Call”

In The Silence

I am in the stillness, the silence that sometimes seems to consume you. You fear I am far away, that I am nowhere to be found, but I am always able to be found by my people.

Though the sound of nothingness seems to encapsulate you, know that I am here, watching over you, guiding you and protecting you. Know that I am never far, always within reach. The enemy will try to lie to you, to whisper to you in the silence that I do not care, that I do not listen or that I am unobtainable; those are all lies, do not pay heed to his voice.

Press into the silence, the stillness, for soon my still small voice will be heard, drifting by you like a passing breeze. Continue reading “In The Silence”

The Saving Sun

This flower was thrown into a blizzard. She wilted for a while, wondering if she would eventually fade into nothingness. But, just as she was beginning to fall to join the dirt beneath her, the clouds parted long enough for the Sun to peak through and melt the ice that encapsulated her.

As the water dripped off her stem and leaves, she realized how naked she was, her reflection bare in the pond beside her. No longer were there petals adorning her brow, for they had fallen with the unfortunate freeze. She cried, pained at the loss and wondered how she would continue on. The Sun, again, crept out from behind the clouds to shine upon her. With the rays, came a warmth inside of her, urging her to keep believing that one day she would be whole again. How Abundant Are The Good Things

There are times when we feel small, inadequate, unable, vulnerable, lonely and little. When it seems like the world keeps winning and we keep losing, like bad conquers good and our prayers are unheard. There are times, sometimes often and sometimes far between, when we just don’t know if we are doing anything right, or if every single thing we are doing is wrong. There are times when we doubt our ability to hear the Lord, see Him, feel His presence or even wonder if we are worthy of standing before Him. There may even be times when we doubt God all together, doubt His very existence and wonder if He is good. Continue reading “How Abundant Are The Good Things”

Time For The Testimony

The time for the testimony is at hand.

God’s people have been waiting, praying, decreeing, declaring and, at times, begging for their breakthroughs to come to pass. Well, now is the time.

He has heard them, the cries of His people, just like He heard the cries of the Israelites when they were enslaved in Egypt. His heart breaks for them, His anger kindled because of them. Continue reading “Time For The Testimony”

You Are In Your Moment

One day, you’ll all be living in “the moment”, the moment you’ve been praying and believing for. But, it won’t be “the moment” that got you there, the place you’ve been praying and believing for, but rather “this time” and “this moment”.

Isn’t this what it’s all about?

It wasn’t David being King that we primarily talk about, it was his battle to become King and all he had to withstand in order to finally be crowned. Continue reading “You Are In Your Moment”

Desperate Times

We live in desperate times, primarily for women.

Why do I say this? There is a breaking in many women’s hearts, a burden many are carrying that they have no idea how to be rid of. So many women are in one battle after the next, fighting to simply get out of bed in the morning. Fresh tears fall nearly every day and cries to the Lord are made continuously. I’m not saying the heaviness is on women alone, men feel it as well, but not quite as often as women do today. Continue reading “Desperate Times”

I Hear The Sound

The world shouts to the skies when it becomes desperate for rain. The world waits, never knowing when the waters will come, but knowing they have to. The winds dance, the trees sway, the flowers bloom, the birds sing, the tides rise, all in reverence for their Maker, in obedience to His word. If all of the world bows to His word, so will I. If everything around me believes that the rain will fall, the sun will shine, the moon will rise, then so shall I. Continue reading “I Hear The Sound”

The Master Has Come Home

God has been on the move for some time. The angels have had to make a way for Him, they have had to fight through the darkness, through the spiritual depression Satan placed in the skies, but they finally made a way and He has come, rushing hurriedly towards us. The angels have relied on the saints to pray, to give them the strength they needed to clear a path for the King. They finally made a way, and here He comes, here He is. God Has Landed

God has landed. He has heard the cries of His people, felt the desperation in their voices and the tears streaming down their faces. He came in like a roaring lion seeking the enemy He can devour, He will devour.

Though the pain lasted through the night and though the night was long, joy is coming with the rising of the Sun. A new wave is rising, a wave of blessings, goodness, promotion and breakthrough. The dam is breaking, the logjam being undone, for God is done. He is done with Satan taking what belongs to Him. He is done with the demons wreaking havoc in His people’s lives. He is done with the darkness spreading like a disease throughout the country. He is done. Continue reading “God Has Landed”
