Love Thy Neighbor

Since day one, I have been very outspoken regarding my views on how the body of Christ, as a whole, has handled COVID. We have not dealt with this situation, the fear, the confusion, the anxiety and the chaos, the way Jesus would have dealt with it, and if anyone disagrees with that, I would be very interested to see what biblical verse they are standing on.

Now, as things somehow continue to become stricter, even as COVID deaths rapidly decline, we are seeing many churches, again, close and lock their doors.

Since nowhere in the Word does it say we should react to fear and pandemics by shutting ourselves off from one another, most pastors are using a verse they feel gives them the authority to close the House of God: “Love thy neighbor” Mark 12:31.

I find it interesting, and a bit hypocritical, this is the verse pastors are standing on in regards to keeping people from congregating and worshiping. Suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction, domestic and child abuse, violence, anger and confusion are at an all-time high, but closing the House of God, the place people typically run to in times of difficulty, is somehow “loving” them.

For The Remnant

At the end of June, while writing to the Lord about the confusion and chaos in the world, which has not left a single person untouched, He gave me a Word for the Remnant.

I am often hesitant to share publicly what He shares with me personally, but with so many weary, downtrodden and confused, I hope and pray the following Word is encouraging.

To all of you who are growing weary in your well doing, hold on just a little while longer, your God is on His way.

New Day

Right now, in this moment where things are quiet and I have time to reflect upon who my God is, I feel confident that all will be okay. I have found myself bogged down with so many concerns over the past several months: concerns for my Country, the Remnant, the overall future of the Church.

But, right now, there is something within me that simply knows, believes, that we, you and I and everyone else that is a part of the Remnant, will get through this trying time and end up exactly where God wants us.

In the physical, none of this makes sense, all seems murky and confusing, but in the Spiritual we are making our way through the night towards the light of a New Day. Continue reading “New Day”

Holy Hinderance

I believe there has been a Holy Hindrance put on God’s people. Many of us have felt it, seen it, experienced it for weeks, months, years, even decades. I’m not talking about a hindrance on healings, those we know are God’s promises and cannot be kept at bay when we ask and believe they have been received.

What I’m talking about are situational hindrances-career paths, prophetic words coming to fruition, vision over our lives being shown, doors being opened.

Powerful Play

Have you ever felt like a pawn on a chess board, an insignificant participant in some sort of game? You want to be a major player, to have a monumental role, title, part, to be an important character in this grand game, yet you feel as miniscule and unable to make an impact as just a regular little pawn on a giant board.

While praying for the Remnant the other day I saw a chess board. There were kings, queens, knights, rooks, bishops, the players we all see when we think of a winning game, but there were also many, many pawns. The Lord said to me,

I am strategically placing my pawns in positions of power

I knew in that moment that there was going to be a time when all the pawns moved together to take control of the board that seems lost, to turn the tide on the enemy and, together, make a dominating play. Continue reading “Powerful Play”

Send Us

Lord, let your cloak of confidence envelop us. Allow your power and ability to take the place of the heaviness of vulnerability and fear.  We need you to fill us up, overtake us, push us out and take us over. We must decrease for you to increase, So, decrease us, Lord, push us out until all that is left in each of us is you.

We can’t do this, whatever it is you desire for us to do, but we know you can do it. So, God, wipe us out and build us up again, but, this time we will be built upon the firm foundation of the truth of the Word instead of the lies of the world. Continue reading “Send Us”
