Remnant Rising

Yesterday was one of the craziest days of my life…actually, it was THE craziest day of my life.

While standing amongst several million conservative patriots downtown Washington, D.C., I realized that regardless of what happens on January 20, 2021, there is a Remnant who will continue to stand.

There is a Remnant that bows their knees to God alone and never to man.

There is a Remnant that believes babies deserve the right to life.

There is a Remnant that will not concede to the communist and socialist agenda.

There is a Remnant that refuses to accept the normalization of the LGBTQ ideology.

There is a Remnant that stands for the freedom God gave us when He blessed us with this beautiful country we are so fortunate to call home.

Lines Have Been Drawn

Though the world is confused in the midst of the chaos brought into it by the devil, I am not

Though the masses find themselves wrapped in fear and anger, I do not

Though the congregations may turn from the Truth, I will not

I know who I am for I know who my God is

My God is a healer, I do not need a vaccine

My God is a provider, I do not need assistance

My God is a divider, I do not need to decide which side He is on

I will stand with my Father until my days are done

I will worship my King even if I worship alone

I will bow down before my Maker all the days of my life

God Of Miracles

Two days ago, I witnessed a miracle.

A family member was taken to the hospital. The initial report was not good, in fact, it was dire. My typical reaction to any type of extreme news, good or bad, is to go to the Lord, but as I sat in my apartment, worship music playing in the background, I found I couldn’t find any words to speak to Him.

My heart was heavy, my mind a jumble. My phone rang with people checking in, but I couldn’t talk because to talk would lead to tears and I didn’t want to risk falling apart.

But God: Re-post

This morning, while praying for the impossible to become possible, the words, “but God” came to mind.

Not two minutes ago, a friend text a prayer group and ended her message with, “but God!”

I vaguely remembered writing a post not long ago, of course, named But God.

After reading it, I felt encouraged and hopeful that although the waters are rising, the waves crashing, the lightning striking and the thunder rolling, and although the impossible seems to only be becoming more impossible, I have one clear thought piercing through the darkness…BUT GOD.

Take Heed

This morning, while reading Mark 4, two verses stuck out as pertinent to the times and season the Remnant is in right now.

Take heed what ye hear.” -Mark 4:24

Why are ye so fearful? How is it ye have no faith?” -Mark 4:40

We are in a season unlike any other. The voice of God and the voice of man have never been so divided.

Media states a fact, the Remnant a different fact.

The masses believe one thing, the Remnant another.

Some pastors claim submission, others shout for persistence.

So, when I read “take heed what ye hear” my heart was struck.

The Upper Room

I believe we are in a collection process. What do I mean by this? I mean the Remnant is beginning to leave the building and is entering into the room.

I have never had so many people sending me verses, videos, prophetic words and prayer calls as I have in the past week. This election process has forced the Body to leave the church building and take “church” into their homes, offices, prayer closets, etc.

When I think of where the Remnant is now, I see the Upper Room written about in beginning of Acts. God needed the Remnant of old to separate themselves from the masses and wait in a secluded place for His presence to descend. We don’t know how long they waited but I would assume that within the waiting process they had to encourage one another, had to lift one another up and tell each other that it would be just a little while longer before they received what they were waiting for.

We are gathering into an “upper room” right now.

God Has Landed: Re-post

I wrote “God Has Landed” over two years ago, but I do not think this was a Word for 2018.

Instead, I believe this was written as a declaration for what was to come, for what we are witnessing right now.

I, unknowingly, wrote these words years prior to their time. They were seeds planted in 2018, but now they are full grown fruit ready to be plucked.

The below post, although written years ago, is for the Remnant right now, in this unprecedented moment in history. For, I see the Lord like a Lion, all four paws upon the United States. He looks into the eyes of the enemy without fear, without hesitation, then releases a roar so loud the mountains quiver, the earth trembles and the enemy shakes.

He has come, for the cries of His people have reached His ears.

Find encouragement knowing our Lord has heard us. He has felt our desperation, He has left the heavenlies and has come to our nation to decree and declare that HE alone shall be praised, He alone shall be worshiped and He alone shall be exalted.

God has landed.

My Everything

I find so much completeness is found in the Lord. So much peace, joy, goodness is in Him.

What else could we possibly need when we have Him?

What else could we ask for when we know we belong to Him?

When we give ourselves away completely is when we find ourselves and all we are capable of.

When we turn to Him and turn away from the world is when we learn all we need to know; no more confusion, no more turmoil, no more pain.

The Lord takes all the enemy longs to wrap us in and breaks the power of the lies, of the captivity the world wants us to be lost in.

I am so in love with the Lord, I am obsessed with Him, I am engrossed in His presence.

I Hear The Sound: Re-post

Two years ago to the day I wrote the below post. It is just as inspiring and encouraging today as it was when it was originally written.

I hope it helps you today. Know the rain is coming.

~~~
The world shouts to the skies when it becomes desperate for rain. The world waits, never knowing when the waters will come, but knowing they must come.
The winds dance, the trees sway, the flowers bloom, the birds sing, the tides rise, all in reverence to their Maker, in obedience to His word.
If all of the world bows to His word, so will I.
If everything around me believes the sun will shine, the moon will rise, the rain will fall, then so shall I.
What Do We Deserve?
My thoughts often turn to the season we are in as a country, as a church and as a Remnant. With the election less than four weeks away I find I am praying for November 3, 2020 more than I have ever prayed for a day in my entire life.
I do not believe we are in a season we in the 21st century have ever witnessed. I firmly believe the outcome of the election will dictate our daily lives like we could never imagine. Whatever news we wake up to on November 4, 2020 will change us forever, if we like it or not.
I spent most of last week listening to testimonies of individuals who have experienced, either firsthand or through loved ones, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) concentration camps. While listening to the testimonies, I often thought, “how is it possible this is happening yet nobody is talking about it?”
January 20, 2019
The Lord brought me to a Word He gave me at the beginning of 2019 during the last ‘blood moon’.
I have hesitated many times about sharing this Word, but with all that is happening around the world-the unrest, the riots, the anger, the politically charged atmosphere, COVID-19, the Supreme Court nomination, there is just so much to be praying for right now, which brought me to this Word.
I believe we are in unprecedented times. The Remnant is rising, the enemy battling.
Do not fear for the Lord is with us, goes before us and continually surrounds us. Always and forever.
No Depth To The Darkness
There is no depth to the darkness, did you know that? The devil does not suddenly have an “end point” when it comes to the sickness and disease he desires to bring into the world, or the corruption he longs to place upon humanity, or the abuse, addiction, hurt and violence he aches to plague us with.
I have known this for some time, yet I am still shocked at just how deep into the depths of darkness the devil wants to take us.
Our world is under attack, there is no doubting that now. We are not only fighting an enemy from without, looking at places like North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria and China and thinking about how bad it is over there, but rather, today, we are looking at our own society, our towns, communities, neighbors, offices and churches and realizing just how bad it has gotten here, in the land of the free and home of so many brave.
In The Gap
Recently, in my alone time with the Lord, I’ve been telling Him I am in need of prayer and encouragement. There have been several things on my heart I couldn’t quite talk about with other Christians, so these matters have been mulling around in my head and I found I could only put them into words while in the presence of God.
Have you ever been there? As if you have a whole list of prayer requests, yet you find yourself unable to bring them up with other believers?
Well, last Friday, the Lord took my list and went through them one by one, and all I had to do was sit on the couch and listen.
If You Give The Devil An Inch
There is a children’s book called “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”. In it, it says, “if you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to want a glass of milk”. The story goes on and on with the mouse wanting more and more until finally he has taken over the entire house. My whole life my mom has compared that little mouse to the devil, and it wasn’t until recently that I fully see what she means.
If you give the devil an inch in your life, he’s going to ask for two. If you give him two, he’s going to come after four. If you give him four, he’s going to demand a foot. On and on he will go until the devil finally has what he wants; your entire life.
This does not only apply to our personal lives, but also to our families, communities, societies and countries. We, as a society, have given the mouse a cookie, a glass of milk, a blanket, a room, a floor and now he is coming after the entire house.
BLM Burning Bibles
This morning, I read an incredible post by Mario Murillo about a BLM/Antifa protest in Portland where they began to burn a stack of bibles.
My bible is my life source. It is not just a book filled with random verses and passages, or a history lesson discussing where my heritage came from, or random stories discussing people I don’t know.
My bible is the guide to my eternal salvation, it is the doorway to me learning about peace, health, success, overcoming. It is Jesus’ voice here on earth, God’s testimony for my life, the Holy Spirit speaking to me through words written long ago yet still moving. It is joy in the midst of mourning, light when all I see is darkness, calm when I’m surrounded by chaos and peace in the middle of a battle. My bible is not just a book, my bible is my guide through life.
Without it, I would be lost.
