So many, so many of your people are waiting for you. It’s like you have a group of people staring at stagnant water, praying and believing it’ll move. They are desperate for it to move, for the water has been still for so long it’s become moldy, bacteria has crept its way in. No matter what the group does, nothing can clean the water or make it move.
Your children feel like they’re going crazy staring at the water, begging it to move, praying for it to move, believing you’re going to step in to stir it, clean it out and restore what was once there.
We watch, and we wait. We wait. We wait. We wait and wait and wait but you don’t come. Every morning we tell ourselves that this day will be the day the water will move, when our God, our Father, will step in, but every night we go to bed discouraged and doing everything we can to encourage ourselves that tomorrow, not today, will be the day. Your people have done all they can, but the water still isn’t stirring.
