We live in a world where good is bad and bad is good, darkness is perceived as light and light is shunned as darkness. We have placed God on a pedestal far from where we stand and tell the masses that the Lord is always in control, no matter if we are living a life after Him or not. For Me
My Lord, you are my song
Your words spring forth from my lips
My God, you are my breath
Your air fills my longing lungs
My King, you are my command
Your direction I await to be given
My Father, you are my protection
Your wings I am hidden beneath
2019
“You crown the year with Your goodness.” -Psalm 65:11 (NIV)
I call 2019 forth and say you will be GOOD.
2019 will be a year of harvest, of healing, promotion and overflow.
2019 will be a year of victory, a year of the everlasting love of the Lord to fall upon His people and fill them to the very brim. Continue reading “2019”
For You
We cannot afford to forget what Jesus did for us, what He sacrificed for us, for you and me.
For you, Jesus took on Satan. He came to a sin filled world for you, to take up the cross and defeat death. Continue reading “For You”
What I Want
I don’t desire to be famous, but I do desire to be significant. I don’t care if the masses ever know my name, but I do care if the Kingdom knows it.
It doesn’t matter if people like me, but it means the world to me that the enemy trembles at the thought of me. It is nothing to me if I never pick up a sword in the physical, but it is everything to me that I carry one continuously in the spiritual. I don’t care if my voice is magical to the ear or my singing desirable to the people, but I need it to be powerful to the rival and commanding to the foe. Continue reading “What I Want”
Latest Bloom
The latest bloom is often the most anticipated bloom, the bloom we have been waiting so long for, praying and believing for. Sometimes, we wonder if the bloom will ever come, if all our hard work to protect the harvest was for nothing. We heat the harvest in the snow, cover it in the rain and shade it in the sun. We do everything we can to make sure our plants will eventually bud, but sometimes the hardest part is simply waiting for the blossom to bloom. Continue reading “Latest Bloom”
My Jesus
My Jesus is there for me when I walk in blindness.
My Jesus stands by me when I’m surrounded by nothing.
My Jesus speaks life over me when all I hear is silence.
Greater Is He
“Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” -1 John 4:4
There is nothing too great for you, for inside of you is something so vast, so wonderful, the very earth itself worships at His feet. In you is power so overwhelming the very winds become still for Him. Around you is something so large the very mountains bow before Him. Continue reading “Greater Is He”
Trust
I will trust you, always.
I will trust you to do what you say you will do, regardless of what I see around me.
I will trust you to surround me with your favor, regardless of the storm I feel raging to my right and left.
I will trust you to speak to me, no matter how the silence presses in upon me.
I will trust you to fill me with your Word, regardless of how my stomach may be growling. Continue reading “Trust”
Wild To The World
We are meant to be wild to the world, untamed and untouched by its greedy fingers.
We are meant to run free, with only the wind as our companion: no saddle, no stirrups, no whip.
We are meant to find joy in the independence of our run, the solitude of our time with the Sun, stars, trees and breeze.
There should be nothing in the world keeping us captive, tempting us to walk into submission to anything other than our Creator.
God Has You
When God has you, there is nothing the devil can do to get you out of His hands. Continue reading “God Has You”
Who My God Is
I do not fear what is ahead of me, no matter what it is, for I know who my God is.
My God is the God of miracles, breakthroughs and overflow
My God heals the sick and cleanses the lepers
My God speaks to the wind and the waves and commands them to be still
My God pulls the mountains out of the earth and digs the oceans into the deep Continue reading “Who My God Is”
Ripple In The Water
There’s a ripple in the water, I know it.
It’s been so long since we’ve seen movement we’re hesitant to even believe it. We feel the shifting of the earth beneath our feet, the stale wind brushing our cheek, see the still trees slightly sway. We know the water is about to move, not because of what we feel, not because of what we see, but because of what we believe. Continue reading “Ripple In The Water”
Move The Water
So many, so many of your people are waiting for you. It’s like you have a group of people staring at stagnant water, praying and believing it’ll move. They are desperate for it to move, for the water has been still for so long it’s become moldy, bacteria has crept its way in. No matter what the group does, nothing can clean the water or make it move.
Your children feel like they’re going crazy staring at the water, begging it to move, praying for it to move, believing you’re going to step in to stir it, clean it out and restore what was once there.
We watch, and we wait. We wait. We wait. We wait and wait and wait but you don’t come. Every morning we tell ourselves that this day will be the day the water will move, when our God, our Father, will step in, but every night we go to bed discouraged and doing everything we can to encourage ourselves that tomorrow, not today, will be the day. Your people have done all they can, but the water still isn’t stirring.

God Took Me
God took me and covered me with his feathers, encapsulated me under his wings. He protected me as the winds rushed by, the rain poured down, the thunder shook the ground and the lightening lit the skies. He guarded me until the clouds started to part and the sun began to arise.
He told me it was time to come out, to stretch my legs and strengthen my spirit. He took my hand and pulled me up as the sun peaked over the mountain and poured rays of light upon us both. He smiled at me, encoring me to come out of my hiding place and trust His guiding steps, listen to His calming voice. Continue reading “God Took Me”
